Netflix's President of Games, Alain Tascan, is expecting a future generation that relies less on gaming consoles as major players like Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo push forward with new hardware.
If kids these days are anything like I and other kids like me were back when we were kids: We care about the games more than the thing the games are on. The only time we care about the thing the games are on, is when the game we want is only on a specific thing. If you cross release your game on everything, and allow everyone to play with each other regardless of the platform, nobody gives a fuck about the platform.
The reason to get hyped for PlayStation 6 would be because Hot New Game is a PlayStation 6 exclusive and looks dope as fuck.
