Better than releasing those early access as if they were full games at ridiculous prices just to then complete it by releasing the missing content as 20$ dlcs
I mean, there’s reasonable arguments for both approaches, but I can see why bigger companies don’t want unfinished versions of games out there for PR reasons.
They’re the ones doing it the most, and they mostly just say “oh sorry, we’ll patch it later” and proceed to make tons of DLCs to add anything other than bug fixing
