Conmebol and Concacaf games are full of gamesmanship and this game had remarkably little of it compared to other games from this same Copa. I mean, did you watch Colombia’s second half against Uruguay? Every team does it when they can. Also, it is very clear from the shot of Messi’s incredibly swollen ankle during extra time that he actually fucked it up. Acting doesn’t make your ankle look like that.
