Normally I’m quite harsh on these things but there are extenuating circumstances here. UEFA were making changed to FFP during the middle of covid with no knowledge of exactly what the next few years would hold.
Expecting clubs to keep up with unexpected changes when they might have front weighted their allowed FFP losses etc. is a challenge.
UEFA aren’t perfect with FFP rule breaches but its not like they haven’t attempted to ban many large clubs from Europe before.
