Yeah like the other guy said, Reignited is great. I think this video does it a bit of a disservice. You can make any argument that the art direction loses something compared to the original, but even then it’s only losing a tiny amount, and all the gameplay and sound design are every bit as good.

Never played the game but Spyro gives me the same feeling as Rayman in the context of whimsical dreamlike worlds.
The first three are the best platformers on the PlayStation and better than most of the platformers on the n64.

I’d recommend picking up the remastered collection! The games are a ton of fun and hold up shockingly well
