It’s so weird seeing release dates (even if just “April 2024”) for Dwarf Fortress. I’m still used to the ol’ “it’s done when I say it’s done” approach.
I can’t wait. Adventure Mode has always been my favorite part of the game and I’m missing it so bad in the Steam version. I wanna be a hippoman and toss goblins around once again with the new systems.
Yup, I miss “the big wait” every time after a major release and bugfixes. Half the fun was estimating when the next release would come out and which items from the roadmap would make it.
