I feel like RTS games would be perfect for Tablets with proper touch input.
Make the gameplay loop good and the UI easy to use with touch and I’d be playing way more than I would sitting at my PC.
Well, someone already made Kingdom Rush. But we can all pretend that the British TV show “Time Commanders” would have been a great idea for table RTS controls.

Touch is garbage tier input for precision and speed. Making a Touch friendly game would require a massively simplified game, more so than consoles.
Not everything has to be competition level gameplay…
Even without competition, touch based isn’t capable of cross play, it’s farther apart than mouse and keyboard vs controller for FPS.
