He is being (intentionally) daft. In the aftermath of the 4-4 Chelsea - Manchester City game, it seems clear that EPL fans celebrate chaotic, high scoring games. But that’s not the same as saying EPL fans don’t appreciate good defense, or their teams don’t play good defense.
