Wii Remote, hands down. First of all, most Linux distros have out-of-the-box support for it. Second, you can connect a bunch of accessories to it, even lethal-sounding ones, such as the Nunchuk! Third, it’s perfect for mouse emulation, and all you need for it to work is to put a couple of candles under your monitor. Nothing beats the Wii Remote. There’s the small problem of most computer games not supporting the Wii Remote out of the box, but that’s a minor issue, really.

EDIT: Almost forgot. Let’s say you need a controller with a conventional layout because of a pesky game that can’t be played without it. Just slap a Wii Classic or a Wii Pro controller into the Wii Remote, and bam, you got exactly what you needed.

(I’m sorry if it’s a bad joke.)

Hey there. I don’t know of anything that would lead me to agree with you, but I’d like to understand where you’re coming from when saying that gender / sexual orientation is being forced upon you. I’d appreciate it if you could provide some examples where you consider that this is happening. I’m not a troll, and I’m not here to make fun of you. Not only would it be extremely childish of my part, but I also think the Internet and the Lemmyverse can be used for more productive things. Perhaps it can even be used for us to learn new things together…? If you prefer to talk via DMs, I can do that too.

“Gender euphoria” is a term has been around for ages. It exists at least since 1976, from what I’ve read online. I personally haven’t heard “euphoria” being used very often (except for the name of that one TV show), so I can’t really say if it has been overused lately.

It’s actually the first time I’ve heard about MonoGame. A lot of indie games seem to use it. Donating to FOSS projects, as long as they are being well-managed, is always cool.

I don’t know why this article is written as if crunch culture ever stopped being a reality. It has been like this for decades, and it shows no signs of stopping, despite all the criticism (and the only way of stopping it is unionizing, as many here have already said).

Someone seems to have taken the concept of a rogue-like a little bit too far, haha

It looks like a Madkatz controller, you’re right, but it has some really cool features. The D-Pad and the right stick are replaced by two clickable touch surfaces, as to allow you a different type of control than just using two sticks. It also has an accelerometer and horoscope, which is also a nice thing to have when you want to aim in games almost as precisely as with a mouse. On top of that, there are also two extra buttons on the rear of the controller.

No, this isn’t war funding, this is funding for NGOs that help people who have been left with no home and no food due to the war.

So what they are saying is “game companies are and should only be forced to do something if they promised the consumers the games would be playable forever”, am I right?

Turns out he calls it a laptop chip troughout the article, but that title makes zero sense with what the article is talking about. And it’s not like the article shows a lot of new information, it’s just like “oh, look, x86 emulation on ARM!” What a clickbait article.

Apparently this III initiative has its own Bilibili channel… I don’t know if this could be a clue for what kind of games they might be releasing or not…

Thanks. It’s just that I was confused because they shut down Disney Interactive a few years ago.

Question: why was Disney involved in the negotiation regarding video games? afaik they currently don’t own any studios nor publishers.

Edit: they do, I just thought they didn’t
