
Microsoft’s walked this back for a few games now, BG3 being the largest, and I’d bet a lot try at Witcher 4 will get that same bump.
Edit: even then, the X wasn’t an FPS issue and games were hitting a stable 60 on that while shitting the bed on the S, so developing for the X is still not the problem.

That’s super fair and a trend I could agree with. I’m tentatively optimistic from rumors that the Switch 2 will be fully backward compatible and have a shared virtual store, which has been such a sore spot for me compared to how Xbox runs it. Fingers crossed for more competition though!

4e did some really cool stuff while also going a bit off the rails for me. I think overall I like 5E more, but we played a ton of 4e and I’ll always remember it fondly. I was really into the more defined roles, and how classes were a bit more self contained so they could just keep making more and more niche ones
