This year will easily go down as one of gaming’s best, if not THE best.

I hope you understand that you’re getting downvoted because your reply is very low-effort that refuses to go into any detail. Therefore, it comes across as malicious, arrogant, and dismissive.

please explain

it’s best in any format, imo. shaping up to be my all-time favorite game.

Well, there is a decent chance they would have gone for the PS5 instead.

survivor is such an amazing game but the performance issues have prevented me from hopping back into it. it’s a shame though because the content that is there is legit like 9/10 or 9.5/10 for me.

There’s an important distinction between devs and the executive side of publishing. I can promise you that the Jedi devs absolutely love the game they’re making.

The Jedi series almost single-handedly brought back EA singleplayer games. Since Fallen Order, we’ve gotten Mass Effect Legendary Edition (and ME4 announcement) and an excellent Dead Space remake.

I don’t think this game is going to have a Game Master mode like DOS2 for a while, but I imagine it will be part of the inevitable Enhanced Edition.

Hard disagree. This game is going to blow up.

A while ago, i would have agreed about Divinity. Now? I think Baldur’s Gate 3 makes Divinity look like D&D The Video Game: The Alpha

This feels like a Reddit type of comment. Like… I get shitting on Blizzard but Diablo IV is pretty kick-ass.

Diablo IV is fucking awesome. I understand the sentiment though.

I think we should extend the term to people who are comfortable and OK with playing at sub 30 FPS while still enjoying high refresh rates.

Not sure how you got that from that message, there’s some games that would definitely qualify under this flow chart.

I love this advice for 99% of games, but I pre-ordered Baldur’s Gate III around three years ago now and have been able to play Early Access as a result.

It’ll be amazing but have like 294850 DLCs. Somehow to get all of them it’ll cost the same as a home down-payment.
