I know scammers will get people to install remote access programs on PC, but hadn’t heard of it on Android. It does seem like some kind of middle ground though…

I am super thankful for flatpaks. I do wish I understood things a little better in flat seal though. can do some basics but I don’t know or understand what 95% of the flat seal options are for a given piece of software or why some of the fixes I’ve put in from when I’m googling a problem actually work.

2 years ago, I would have agreed with you. But so much progress has been made and lots of devs have already enabled multiplayer support, it’s really just a handful that need to be convinced, so I don’t think 20% will be necessary to get there.

FIFA and Madden have been dog shit iterations for years and years and people keep buying them. Plus Battlefield 6 might actually be good and will test plenty of people (like me) who said “never again” long ago. Luckily I probably won’t actually be tempted because of EA anti cheat and Linux incompatibility.

Indies are great. I can play AAA titles but don’t really ever… It seems like that is where the folks with the most creativity are focusing their energy anyways.

Some of the UI mods are really good. Gives what can be a bit of a clunky experience some QOL features and look.

I made my PC work by pressing the power button. Linux devs made it work by writing and releasing Linux and countless utilities and applications. Let’s call it a draw.
