i made the mistake of checking the comments before playing so…

At least the pad was included with the wii u.

Nintendoland was THE shit tho.

The trails series though is rough to get into. Ive played cold steel 1 and 2 but the the other games seem outdated and inaccesible now.

Ive tried reading synopsis but they just dont click for me.

I’d be attacked by a scholar and cleric at night and have my stuff/information taken. People around me won’t even be aware of what’s happening despite being pummeled an elemental barrage. I will be relatively unscathed though.

Octopath Traveler 2.

I mean it WAS actually a broken mess from what I saw.

Im saying I always buy games on a deep sale well after it has been released so Im not particularly impacted.

A nine year old out there has probably beaten the game. This complaint is kinda hilarious ngl

Right? This is the first time ive heard a complaint about not being able to solve the weather problem. How much of a problem would the rest of the game be if you cant solve this.

The exploration and physics IS the game. You kinda do the objectives along the way.

It really helps that you follow the road though and turning off the UI. I dont think this is for you though of you got frustrated by the weather. The old man teaches you to cook and make a fire.

Spider-man is something that isnt mentioned here yet. It has amazing setpieces and a good story.

Seconded… I take roguelite breaks after every other game I play… Hades, Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Griftlands, and Little Noah have been sort of relaxing to me.

First you raw dog me in public, and now you burst into my office and raw dog me here?!

Definitely Chained Echoes. It has a lot of modern touches.

You get healed after every fight and so you actually get to use skills. You only level up after boss battles so the game is scaled properly and you dont need to grind. The overheat system is also a good mechanic to spice up turn-based battles.

If you have a Switch, I definitely recommend Fire Emblem: Three Houses as a modernization of the Tactics RPG genre.

When did I say that I didnt like the game? It feels as if youre offended by this opinion and just assuming stuff that isnt even on my comment. Im playing the game right now and im loving it, its just not sequelly enough for me.

Stasis had the momentum thing going on and you could do some wacky stuff with it. And remote bombs had fun interactions too because you could place yourself and then detonate it.

There’s barely anything from BOTW that carried over plotwise. It feels like nods to BOTW but it doesnt feel sequelly to me. Did I lose my champion powers from the gloom from Ganon? (Revali’s gale please come back) Why is the purah pad a downgrade from the sheikah slate? Did the guardians become the towers? The whole 100 year war seems like an afterthought and it mostly feels like just a new game. And where the hell is my stuff? I wish they just kept my armor in a chest in the house or something.

Gold standard of sequels is a stretch imo. Gameplay, a bit. Plot, definitely not. It’s not Arkham City or God of War on plot and carryovers and it aint no Diablo 2 in gameplay improvement.

I miss Stasis and the remote bombs though. I wish they also kept my house. I just got my horses back.

It’s a great game but a terrible sequel. Granted, I’m only up to the 3rd “dungeon” now but I dont see it coming up with a plot to tie it better with BOTW.

Is this like an expansion or an entire new game? Has it been that long since the first game? At least now there are voice actors.

It is very prone to burnout though. Probably go through the story sidequests only up until the third act.

Just wanted to share that if you have a Netflix account, you can probabaly try some good mobile games. Here’s some I found that were good:

Arcanium

Bloons

Into the Breach
