Dune 2 at least wasn’t shareware.

Maybe had a demo though. There were a few discs that had shareware and playable demos.

Doesn’t sound like what they had, though. Especially if it had episodes 2 and 3, etc.

I was going to say congratulations on hitting 500, and how I always enjoy these and I’ve actually learned a number of things. And stuff.

But there’s a ton of well wishers who beat me to it. So, uh, fuck you!

Lots and lots more compatible games is probably the biggest one

You can also not whine when people mention it. FYI.

Also, if they said “googles” or “ddgs” I doubt you would have complained. They don’t use either of those presumably.

I don’t have a list. Just considering that MS patents EVERYTHING I have a tough time believing they don’t have patents over DirectX things that Wine has created an implementation for, etc.

Right, they clearly don’t believe it has been worth the effort in the past. At a certain point I’ve always worried that they might.

They likely have patents on a number of things implemented in Wine/Proton. Clean-room implementation is also good, buy would cover copyright, not patent.

They mean by percentage, for one thing. And new games come out all the time.

Hadn’t heard of it at all. I just skimmed a walkthrough video. It doesn’t seem bad, but I don’t play a lot of F/3PS. What makes it a “limp puppet corpse”?

(Will go look for some of the reviews though).

I guess it depends on whether the app embeds the default browser or is hardcoded to use webview. I don’t know many apps that will trigger a load of random sites that do the latter, though.

There’s a special edition for $730+tax so maybe they mean that.

But starts at $380, less for return.

Consumer Bankers of America??

California Board of Accountancy?

Continental Basketball Association?

Collective Bargaining Agreement?

Chicago Bagel Authority?

Additional TL;DW(but should): they also connect to EVERYTHING and how it was done is actually really impressive.
