Interesting model blizz. Create a game. Build a base. Destroy the game and lose part of that base. Re-release original game to claw back former base.

I had jumped back in when tbc classic was released. I wound up on a dead server. It made end game content essentially impossible. I was hoping to move right into wotlk classic at release as that was my jam back in the day. Except they weren’t going to include the dungeon finder or cross realm groups meaning it would still be a dead server with no chance at end game content. I was done with pointlessly dumb leadership. Unsubbed and found a private server that hits all the right buttons.

What’s the SorteKanin description of Outer Wilds?

While I don’t fully disrobe, the freedom of pulling one leg out of my pants is amazing. You can get a nice spread going for those times you need to bear down a bit.

Friendly reminder Bloons TD 6 is free for Netflix customers. Unsure if that’s all counties or restricted or tier restricted. It’s been pretty fun, but the best aspect is offline play.

Gameplay related things on each game is an engine issue. The fixes have already been completed in unofficial patches. It would be pretty much a copy/paste fix in the engine. They have just opted not to.

You can think the creation engine is great, but there are simple issues that should have been fixed decades ago they’ve completely ignored. At this point it should be considered an insult to the player base that there needs to be the “unofficial patch” for all games. It would take more time and effort arguing against fixing them, than actually fixing them.

Do you want another release of skyrim? Because that’s how you get another release of skyrim!

Fuck that’s bad. Though I’m not playing starfield I’m certainly paying attention to shit like this. Before 76 I would have been a fully committed fanboy pre-ordering most, if not all, Bethesda games. Between 76 and other shenanigans they had dropped sharply out of favor. I wasn’t going to buy a game brand new until reviews came out (hence why I still haven’t played starfield). They gained some favor back with the TV series as it seemed well done for just my kind of interest level. Now they’re losing it again.

I joined back up for TBC classic. WotLK was my fucking jam so I wanted to prep a little bit. I chose the wrong server. So I was on a server of thousands that could barely manage double digit concurrent horde population. Obviously this is not tenable. Talk of realm transfers and multiple low population servers kept me hanging around a bit. Then came two incompetent decisions. They opened up free realm transfers from low pop servers. Unfortunately mine was only low horde. Overall it was classified as medium pop and therefore not included. Then they revealed once WotLK dropped they would not implement dungeon finder (saying nothing of cross realm dungeon finder). Within days I’d canceled my account. I now have a few 80s on a private server that scratches every itch I need. I haven’t given the private server a dime. I need to give them a little money for their effort.

Fuck blizzard.

Ha! I didn’t even realize that. It’s been decades since I’ve played that but I do play Clash of Clans as well as work with Certificates of Conformance daily. CoC just looked so normal.

I recently got FF7 (original) for Switch and have been playing through that hard. KotR was nearing mastery and I figured I’d double check to make sure I hadn’t missed anything. I missed Ramuh. There’s no way to go back and get it and my only earlier save is just after Temple of the Ancients. I won’t be able to make my own Master Summon Materia. I was just settling into the final grind/side quests. Guess I’ll have to slot another full playthrough sooner than I had anticipated. On the plus side, there’s so much more information readily available than when I had played decades ago and I’ve learned a few new tricks. And being able to speed up most stuff to x3 speed has been great.

Are there games similar to Borderlands Science?
I'm hoping to find a game similar to Borderlands Science. Preferably something that can be played on a phone. Top tier would be the ability to play offline (sometimes I don't have great cell service though I understand it would need to be connected to some degree). I can easily zone out on somewhat mindless games and play for hours if I have the free time or spare attention. Progress tends to be my limiting factor. If I've just put 10 hours into a game and the next time I pick it up is the exact same as the first it can feel like a waste. If instead, those mindless hours were going to a good cause that is progressing (even if I don't directly see that progress), it might make it easier. Plus it's going to a good cause.

It’s crazy that they haven’t used things like the unofficial patch to fix their own damn game. Like they could pretty much just copy paste that shit and be fine. But no. More than a decade later and that shit is still around and even propagated to things like FO4 and FO76.
