This game is demanding enough on the Steam Deck, I wonder if it’ll even hit a stable 30 FPS on the switch

This game is gonna be a huge stinker

I’ve been playing this port and it’s great. I’ve seen a couple of frame drops during cutscenes but aside from that no issues

8 year-old me was stuck on that mission for ages, among many others. Nowadays I can reliably jump the bike up on top of the train and get it done before the end of the first tunnel

Easily San Andreas on the PS2. I still go back and play this game at least once a year

Yeah I’ll pass

CRPG has been around for decades. That’s like saying you’re not adding FPS or RTS to your vocabulary

If an indie dev stuck with PS2 style graphics they could pull off something at least on the scale of Vice City. A lot of OG GTA fans, myself included, would be thrilled to see a game like that

There are plenty of handhelds to fill that niche, the issue is they’re too underpowered to handle most games released in the last 15 years

Look at the mods people pull off for used Thinkpads. Where there’s a will, there’s a way

I’d love to play this but I’m not downloading over 100 gigs just to play one game. Storage is limited on my Steam Deck and my potato laptop probably won’t run the game

Every time I see this thing I wonder wtf Asus was thinking when they neglected to put trackpads on it

Let’s be honest, most of the unverified games work just fine. Valve should really scrap this system and just integrate ProtonDB

A big part of that is in those games you can just click anywhere in the map you’ve already been and be there in a second. The quest markers don’t do the player any favors either.

Morrowind is equally ridiculous and grounded at the same time. On one hand, you can come up with spells or enchantments that will turn your character into a god. On the other hand, you have to pay attention to quest givers and follow directions like you would in real life. You have to keep your eyes peeled and on the way you’ll run into new things

I’m about 30 hours into my first serious Morrowind playthrough after a few attempts that never took off. Man it took a while for it to click but this game is genius. I tried getting back into Oblivion and Skyrim after several years but they didn’t suck me in like MW has recently

The Legion Go is the only handheld besides the Steam Deck that has me interested for this reason

As someone who’s big into Victoria 2, CK3, and HOI4, I really want to get into this game. But DAMN is there an absolute fuckton of DLC

Oh yeah, I agree. Even if we do get Medieval 3 I don’t trust nu-CA to get it right

I’ve tried similar games I’m just not into the genre I guess. I gave Hades a chance for much longer due to its critical acclaim and I did not enjoy it. I get that there’s a progression, and I don’t even play games for the story, but I expect a little more than the same gameplay loop over and over again just with upgrades

Yeah I mean it’s a better value than a six pack at least lmao. I’m just not into roguelikes or whatever the fuck this genre is called

I bought this game because it was so cheap and had good reviews but I really don’t get the hype. I got maybe 2 hours playtime before realizing it wasn’t for me

Attila came out in 2015 and it’s a very solid game, although quite unforgiving. The Medieval Kingdoms mod for that game is probably as close as we’ll get to a proper medieval 3

They spent so much time on Warhammer they forgot how to make a solid historical game

I need to keep a save file around 10 hours into Black Flag. That game is fun once you’re free roaming with a somewhat upgraded ship but man is it excruciating to get to that point

I don’t know how they managed to perfect the parkour in Unity then proceed to discard that system for inferior ones in every game since

I really enjoyed the naval combat of black flag but it takes like 5 hours to get good. And the modern day parts of the game are even more of a slog
