Futuristic space bum.
Nice post OP, a few of mine off the top of my head;
Half-Life (+expansions + Black Mesa)
Bioshock
Deus Ex
Call of Duty: Black Ops (World at War was great too + ZOMBIES!)
Morrowind / Oblivion / Skyrim
Fallout: New Vegas (+DLC)
System Shock 2
I played a few of the MoH (I can’t recall which) but never owned them.
I think you’ve misunderstood; I was laughing at them claiming Arch is less functional than Windows. It was stated so factually, when in actuality it’s nothing more than an opinion (and a debatable one).
With that said, my partner has been using a Steam Deck for a little over a year now, to date they haven’t needed to use the console once (or “hack” anything). You’re being disingenuous or doing it wrong.
Good luck with your peaceful / not peaceful demonstration and let me know how it goes; the image of a small group of people with placards protesting against “OSes and other critical IT software” gave me a good giggle.
Space Station 14 on Steam!
It’s free and very fun. I’m quite new to SS14 and there seems to be a lot to it. It’s graphics are topdown, 2D and aren’t it’s strong point but the potential for fun is unlimited.
I found it to be pretty overwhelming at first, evening moving around and navigating the UI was difficult. However, now I’m going around mining space rocks, cleaning up mess in the station and providing my crew mates with ketchup on bread for sustenance.
I’ve started Fallout 1 this week and not too long ago I finished Carmageddon 2.
Fallout is on sale (75% off);

Logitech F310.
I’ve been using these for almost as long as I’ve been using Linux (10+ years). Plug and play and a good length on the cable. No vibration but that wasn’t essential for me.
(PS there IS a wireless model / version but I’ve never used it - Logitech F710).
Best of luck.
