Microsoft rarely makes good decisions. Though wp had a great ui ahead of it’s time, it was super restricted, and companies had to pay for using windows on their phones. Android although was way more unpolished, it was free and open source. And Microsoft has continued to make terrible decisions ever since

There was an adblocker in videos yes, but on homescreen there were ads in between scrolling. And it had other issues like video infinite buffering etc

It was pretty awesome man. Especially the native apps and the consistency in UI between apps. Android only NOW has introduced something similar with material you. It was ahead of it’s time

I’m pretty happy with my setup, i personally don’t like win11 as much. I’m not looking for a pc UI on my phone. Just wp look

They have some custom tiles that do like calender, photo slider, clock. Folders also have animations
