Right there with ya. Off the (dusty) shelf sound effects, unintentionally low bitrate music, overall poor sampling and processing can make me hate a game. Can have the best 3D in the world but if it has 2D audio I’m out.
Mystical Ninja Goemon on the N64. I bring it up in nostalgic conversations about GoldenEye and Ocarina, but no one ever knows what I’m talking about. That game got so many things right, including the soundtrack.
