They’ve been eliminating sdcard and headphone so you’re asking a lot now. It’s why I’m using a near 5 year old phone with no plans to “upgrade”.

Galaxy A71 5G if you’re interested. It’s not a small phone but it’s not Galaxy Note big, and it’s got android 13. The only downside is it’s lacking a few newer 5G channels in the radio.

Also the silicon expands as it’s charged considerably more because it can hold a lot more. Many people don’t realize charging isn’t just holding electricity in a bucket, it’s a physical change to the battery.

Don’t care. I used Chrome for a long time, moving away from it now because of the poor design decisions lately. At this point even if Google reverted the changes and put out a press release that said “we fucked up and won’t ever do it again” I wouldn’t believe it or trust them. If you want better pictures get an aftermarket lens, the reasonably priced ones just clip on to the phone. You’d use the lens to zoom in, not the app.

Can it be turned off? This isn’t something I need, fast message transmission is.

I took it further and installed Shizuku and Hail, most of my apps don’t get to be active at all unless I want to use them. It’s been great for battery life and privacy. Can’t go without so it’s the next best thing.

The keyboard settings will tell you which one you need when you go to add it also.

I switched from gboard yesterday, added the swipe lib… I wish there were a standard keyboard layout but other than that it’s 🔥. It needs emoji search though.

I think it might just be time to move on.
