I live in South Korea where Samsung is and this is still very much a thing here as well. Galaxy phone’s are more and more becoming an old people phone.

Nah. As much as I want better software, iOS is not the one for me and any other brands than Apple and Samsung are either just not available in my country or are just a bunch of Chinese brands.

I’m just waiting for Pixel’s official release in my country.

As someone who’s been using Samsung phone exclusively over the last 10 years, nothing.

And opensource.

If you’re using Samsung there’s a feature called Extra Dim that does exactly what you want.

Doesn’t this mean no waterproof then? Idk… I’m all down for right to repair but I’d rather choose struggling to remove glued battery from my phone maybe once every 2-3 years than to lose waterproof…

Number of reasons

• F-droid(Basically not having to go through proprietary app store) and apps only on them
• Multitasking is leaps and bounds better(windowed mode, split screen…)
• Fingerprint
• SD card
• Connect phone on Win11 (I know it’s microsoft but it works great and I don’t ever plan to use Mac
• Customization, which is basically non-existent in iOS
• Samsung Dex. It’s a bit more than a gimmik to me.
• File management. Iphone is a freaking joke

There are some things that iPhone is just better but all those things are things that I can live without.
