It makes a little bit of sense. Some dude just spent four hours killing rats in a sewer and suddenly he finds he can throw fire from his hands, he’s probably not going to be that good at it.

Yep, I completely agree. Hated star field, loved NMS. No idea why. Some games just click.

That makes sense, it sounds like you just want a game to offer you a challenge vs being a chill experience. NMS, Satisfactory, Minecraft etc are very much not that game.

Your other comments made it sound like you don’t value a game unless it’s a competitive multiplayer experience.

I don’t understand how it’s rude, all the comments were basically shitting on the game for not having PvE. That sounds like someone who doesn’t value a game unless it’s competitive multiplayer based, which NMS most definitely is not.

I mention it only because NMS, for all its co-op play, really is just a single player game friends can play together.

I take it back, it doesn’t sound like you dislike single-player focused games, it sounds like you actually hate cooperation and prefer PVP because you prefer fights.

It just sounds like you don’t like single player games.

All games eventually evolve a counterstrike mod. It’s the carcinisation of games.

Monkey paw:

Half Life 3 is basically a reskin of overwatch. There is no story mode.

For legacy automaker pickups, that’s true. It’s a dream accessorie: a factory, waterproof, roll away, electric, secure tonneau that doesn’t eat bed space is a HUGE draw.

That’s not entirely true. The high end of aftermarket covers are electric, require the semi permanent installation of rails, wires, and the box, and are fairly cumbersome to remove. They’re not permanent in that they can be removed, but practically no one does this. Rivian’s truck has one built in as well. Most legacy manufacturers leave this to dealers to do as it’s an easy high profit accessory for them to upsell.
