Sure, but aliasing isn’t great either. There has to be at least one game with perfect visuals.

Which games have the best clarity?
I'm tired of every game having ghosting and soft images because of TAA, DLSS, motion blur, LoD pop-in, and low res textures. What are some good games with high visual clarity? Bonus points if it runs at high fps.

So with mice, you have a center position you return to after every move. From that position, ideally you should be able to turn your character between 270°- 180° degrees with a single swipe.

You’ll want to use a mouse with an at least 1000 hz polling rate. They can be found online for less than $30. There are websites to test polling rates.

I recommend a DPI of 800. 1200± DPI will often make your sensitivity way to high, even if you lower the in game sensitivity. 400 DPI has more hitches.

Turn off mouse acceleration in windows.

Make sure the sensor in the mouse and the mouse pad is clean.

Lighting round: light weight mice are preferred. 8000hz is better that 1000hz polling, but not by much and uses a lot of CPU usage and requires correct USB support. Don’t aim at the enemy, aim where they are going to be. Warming up a bit does help your aim. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to get the best gear or to have fun.

Useful mouse comparisons. https://www.rtings.com/

There is a mouse pad compare website, but I can’t find it.

If you like open ended grinding based games, get it, but I’m burned out. I did not enjoy this game.

I recommend this video to understand the benifits of ray tracing.

I was speaking to the long term, 5-10 year in.the future. Analytics is a current solution and as far as I know works well. I was just talking vaguely about long term problems and solutions.

Yes, but not through standard methods. Even AI aimbot can be filtered, but the amount of RND required is likely to much for a single studio to bear alone. I believe we are more likely to see neural network trained bots largly replacing real players using an off the shielf model. Just a guess, not an expert.

The gameplay suck. The story starts off ok, but becomes lame. Pretty graphics. Still plenty if glitches. Walking around the city is worth like $10, not worth the $30 I paid.

I don’t think the Marathon ip is big enough to ride on the name. The trailers don’t give a Marathon vibe anyway.

I rewatched the first episode a few minutes ago. It’s not as bad as I remember haha. I still take issues with the arbitary power levels.

Edit: just rewatched the first episode, not as bad as I remember.

I watched most of My Hero Acidemia and Hunter X Hunter, and I don’t see the appeal. The Cyberpunk pilot, to me, felt ungrounded. The mc hacking with ease appeals more to a power fantasy rather than a reflection of any meaningful character ability. And the dialogue was painfully on the nose, the MC warning about highway bandits 10 seconds before being attacked made me think that they never wrote a second draft of the script.

I’ll watch if someday, and I appreciate your enjoyment of the show, but I just don’t see what others see in it, from the pilot.

I only saw the first episode, but it felt like a standard post-2010 Trigger anime to me.

Edit: just rewatched the first episode, not as bad as I remember. Where was the line I meantioned below? I swear it was there when I watched the show the first time.

I stopped watching after the main character said they were on the gang banger highway and then they got shot up by gang bangers.

Presumable most software is compressible. The more services you have, the higher the risk, but that is not unique to any particular feature in windows.

I didnt try it once, I did Ubuntu, Debian, Arch, PopOS, and prob Fedora. Every time a drive wouldn’t work, dependencies conflicted, programs had less features, so on.

I would use this constantly, if it is good. My understanding is that it runs locally.

Also Arch is far less functional than windows. I switched back.

I’ve always wondered, wouldn’t skill based match making eliminate most cheaters? Why hasn’t that solved cheating?

Elden Ring, good gake but my least favorite from soft game. Should have got it on sale.
