I have a Pixel 9 Pro XL, on Android 16 (beta 3).
When attaching to USB in my car, the Android Auto feature won't play my music, the vast majority of the time. I use Power Amp and music is fine over Bluetooth.
It's *not* the wire. Also, my GF's iPhone works fine.
So, definitely an OS/software glitch. I make sure that Total Adblock is turned off and restart my phone before attaching to USB.
The music may actually work about 2/10 times. However, I can't determine the exact situation during the moments it works.
Any ideas? TIA.
# Fixed!
believe or not, I just need to hit the play/pause button, even though it SEEMS like the music is playing, just need to tap play/pause until it actually starts.
Imagine suddenly driving up to a police DUI check point. You’ve only had one glass of wine with dinner. But, you posted about it on IG, FB, X … or, whatever. You want the risk of letting the cops have easy access to your phone? No way!
Friendly reminder if you’re in the U.S., you always want to use a PIN or password to unlock your phone. Law enforcement needs a warrant. If you use your finger print, Iris, face… they do NOT need a warrant.
Ha, yeah, I read that before posting this. I’ve never had a dedicated news app and I don’t listen to podcasts. I’m strictly a music man. I’m searching my phone for weather related announcements.
Glass backs are dumb. I always use a simple case that can hold my driver’s license and a card. I never use a wallet. I think it’s been at least 20 years since I’ve carried a wallet.
I replaced it once. There’s a simple battery replacement pack available online.
