The money is going to salaries, so it’s basically just extended development. They’re all working and doing something. It’s basically just instead of releasing a game 6 years ago that was barebones and okay they’re making the sequel and won’t release the final game until they’re well done.

I’m confident it will release eventually, maybe another 5-8 years. As long as the devs don’t die of old age.

It’s interesting and it seems like a good change for people that have done a lot of d&d but it’s probably not going to be a complete replacement for 5e. It seems good for short campaigns but it only has one book out for now.

Yeah, it doesn’t make sense because even in the article it talks about other nations already having it and china trying to rollout faster.

Practically I believe up\downvotes are public, so you can’t. Otherwise you look like you’re just a troll if you’re downvoting your own comment.

You would have to basically make a whole game and rewrite characters and quests to make it better. But that’s a lot of work for modders especially when they’re not that interested in the game to start with.

But really you could make a fantastic game with the engine they had and starfield could have been good if it had great writing and great characters and quests. If people loved it and had some gripes about technical limitations that would be one thing. It’s an okay game with technical limitations, that makes it a bad game.

Yes, the second I realized they were actually doing that with literally copy pasted areas and notes and characters it killed the game for me. I can be reasonable for a dungeon having the same layout but not written content and characters. It invalidates the entire experience.

The fundamental concept and theme of the game is trash. It literally makes everything you do meaningless, it inevitably leads to you becoming the jaded villain. It would be better if they had an end where you destroyed the universe shifting thing and were locked in one.

It should be easy to get updates with a little hacky help, they’ll be available on the long term support schedule.

It depends, I’m not sure if it’s a binning thing and they can’t make enough perfect chips for the 3090. Or it might just be limited memory, they’re using all the gddr7 that’s being made and that’s with many different suppliers.

Not really a countermeasure, but the scalping certainly proved that there is a lot of people willing to buy their stuff at high prices.

F35 is guaranteed to be better than a “6th generation” Chinese plane and they can be upgraded anyway. And it’s actually very successful now with a very cheap per plane cost.

It’s more about sensors and communication, there’s no reason you can’t have f35 use drones and stuff. But the better plane will see and target the enemy first. And it can operate without GPS. In other words it’s better to have 3000 f35s flying missions plus a bunch of drones. Being able to deliver a lot of firepower first is a huge deal.
