I’m surprised to see For Honor still going. That was the last game I ever pre-ordered. Even back then, I didn’t really pre-order, but the open beta was really good. Unfortunately the broken end game (it has been years, I can’t remember the exact mechanic) wasn’t revealed in the beta, so after about a week or two I hit that bullshit and it wasn’t fun and I never came back. I think I only got 40 hours of total play time, including the campaign. Lesson learned, though.

Those games did well, it doesn’t mean the genre is among the most popular and i bet they didn’t approach those level of sales. I wasn’t throwing shade, that’s just facts. I also mentioned ubis or reputation adding to this.

I think there is some confusion here. The game genre is “2d platformer,” I wasn’t referring to where people can play it. It isn’t the most popular genre of gaming, and it’s quite different from ubisofts’ other titles.

As a company pushes people away it gets harder to pull them back, so that doesnt take away from their complaints. Also, I’m not sure that the same crowd who plays other ubisoft titles is the crowd that’s interested in a 2d platformer.

Fuck then both for having lootbox nonsense mobile games. Predatory gambling for digital bullshit.

And yet people will continue to argue that llms are demonstrating understanding and problem solving. This shit is just Eliza on steroids. I’m not saying it didn’t require skill or knowledge to create, but it is in no way close to what it is being billed as.

Titanfall 2 come to mind here. I bought it well after launch and really enjoyed the campaign. When I went to hop into multi-player, I was often killed as I spawned or within 10s of spawning. I literally was not playing the game at that, just spawning and dying. I never came back, lol.

I would definitely need a new character, nothing worse than picking up an old save and having zero clue about what’s going on in game. I think I’ll put that on my list, I really did enjoy the game at the time I played it, and I definitely got 100 hours playtime from it.

I was having fun, despite the flaws at launch. I’m sure with improvements and more content it’ll be a great one to revisit.

I might need to revisit cyberpunk, I didn’t know an expansion was ever released. I kind of hit max level doing mostly side quests within 4 months of launch and lost interest.

Oh wow, so it has literally nothing to do with connecting players to the server or with each other? That is wild they wouldn’t have spent the time to fix it given all the money it makes, but hardly surprising.

I don’t play, but that’s probably caused by users with potato connections or extremely high ping being allowed to connect to the server. Pretty common problem with online games.

40% of the world plays video games in some fashion, the market is plenty big enough for everyone.

I’m looking forward to this one. Hopefully, it lives up to expectations on release.

The incredible stupidity and vitriol of gamers is hilarious.
