During the Steam Real-Time Strategy Festival, what games would you recommend buying? I mainly played turn-based strategy games like [HoMM](https://store.steampowered.com/app/297000/Heroes_of_Might__Magic_III__HD_Edition/), [Pennon and Battle](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2915660/_/) in the past. Now I am interested in trying RTS games. Are there any must-have series games you would recommend?

I picked up [Total War: WARHAMMER III](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1142710/Total_War_WARHAMMER_III/) and [Pennon and Battle](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2915660/Pennon_and_Battle/), both strategy games. I'm thinking of getting [Baldur's Gate 3](https://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/1086940/) as well. This should keep me busy for a while. My holiday plan is to stay home and game!

There are so many quirky game festivals. Previously, there was an 'Airplane and Train Game Festival' specifically promoting airplane and train games. This time, Steam has introduced a new [BulletHeaven Game Festival](https://store.steampowered.com/sale/bulletheaven2), featuring games similar to [Vampire Survivors](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1794680/Vampire_Survivors/). Many survivor-like games are participating in the event, and new games like [Pest Apocalypse](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2506810/Pest_Apocalypse/) and [Darkchaser](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2506810/Pest_Apocalypse/) are being launched.

I went ahead and bought a bunch of indie games, picked up [Darkchaser](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2884590/Darkchaser_Battletide/), [Oxygen Not Included](https://store.steampowered.com/app/457140/Oxygen_Not_Included/), and [UFO50](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1147860/UFO_50/), and also grabbed [Cities: Skylines](https://store.steampowered.com/app/255710/Cities_Skylines/). Got used to the launch prices of some AAA games, buying these discounted low-priced games really doesn't hurt much.

I tried the newly released [Vampire Hunters](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2206270/Vampire_Hunters/), and it's crazy with guns all over the screen. It can be called a first-person perspective [Vampire Survivors,](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1794680/Vampire_Survivors/) or a combination with DOOM. However, just like Vampire Survivors, the later stages have too many chaotic effects, which can make me feel dizzy after playing for a while. I still prefer survivor-like games like [Brotato](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1942280/Brotato/) and [Darkchaser](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2884590/Darkchaser_Battletide/), which have simpler effects and allow me to play for longer periods.😂

Red Dead Redemption, the stormy night in SaintDenis, it really impressed me
