I love my Steam Decks (LCD & OLED), and as far as handhelds, won’t buy any more until SD2. I’d much rather see the Deckard released before SD2 to be honest, though my Index headset might be fine, the controllers are kind of fubar. I’ll support Linux hardware over anything Microsoft, or closed platforms.

This looks pretty good. Hope the game-play lives up to its looks.

Omg i hate choice in the marketplace, gimme good old fashioned monopoly any day. /s

People leave one shit hole corporate dystopia for another and think things are going to change.

I’ve played it. Artwork is beautiful, but controls are wonky, hard to get used to on PC, and the gameplay unnecessarily punishing. It doesn’t feel good to play.

Maybe they should take the feedback from reviews and incorporate that into their updates. It’s not just that you are being review bombed by unreasonable people, it’s that people feel the game has problems that aren’t being addressed. I agree it is difficult to recover from a bad release because first impressions are everything. Companies can recover and have, take No Man’s Sky for an example.

I was able to play the introduction but as soon as it tries to log onto the server i get a BattleEye didn’t load properly restart client. Ohwell, maybe they’ll enable it one day for linux users, until then refund requested.

Glad i already built a system and don’t have to worry for a few years about upgrades unless something breaks. Also i’m Canadian so our tariff dispositions may be different.

Oops corrected. Also i’m on linux, so haven’t noticed or cared about Windows issues. Don’t play games with anti-cheat either.

GTA VI isn’t being released on PC until probably a year after console. I don’t own any xbox or other locked down platform, so don’t pay attention to it, so you definitely have a chance to make a sale to those like me who don’t pay attention to console releases.

I didn’t like the game, not my kind of play. Glad others love it though.

I fully believe they are working on the game, whether it gets released when the rumor says, i’ll believe it when it happens. Not worried though, just as long as i get to play it before i die, that will be just fine.

I have a Valve Index and the only way i buy a new headset is with Valve Deckard (or whatever name they chose for their next generation vr). If it never materializes, VR is dead to me because I have zero interest in non linux solutions.

I like the remaster, it plays much better than the original of course. The graphics at first were really sluggish/choppy, but i found disabling the steam overlay fixed it for me.

Yeah it’s called “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered” after all.

Glad i’m not in the market, have a couple decent gaming pc’s, which should be good for another 3 or 4 years. Not to mention 2 Steam Decks.

None of these two are our friends, though AMD is much nicer to the open source world. I tend to buy AMD because at least the hardware i’ve bought has good value and tremendous linux support.

Until Valve releases the Deckard, or whatever their next iteration VR hardware will be named, they’ll have to pry my Valve Index from my cold dead hands. No way in hell would i ever own anything from Meta/FB.

I remember hating the idea, during the age when games came in boxes. Now i support Steam with the tremendous support they’ve given the Linux platform. Most games i have are games on Steam, but i do have a bunch on GoG, as well as Itch.io. Don’t keep all your eggs in one basket, but have to admit the Steam basket is humongous.

Some people like having others around to talk to, but not necessarily be hand-cuffed and totally dependent on them.
