To me this suggests that he first thought it would seem hip and contrarian to support his trans daughter, then he realized that actually the people he considers hip and contrarian are all about hating on trans kids now, and so swiftly pivoted to doing that. (I don’t imagine he had any strong feelings about his daughter as a person either way - it’s not like he was around for her childhood changing diapers or whatever)
I’m thinking Steam Deck. Or wait for the Switch 2 and expect a port to that (Microsoft seems to have no problem putting exclusives on Nintendo platforms, c.f. Ori)
Don’t own an Xbox or PC, I’m going to wait until they decide milking money out of an old game > exclusivity and play with the future GOTY edition on a smart refrigerator or a Playdate or whatever other weird platform they repackage it for.
Socially acceptable T&A, same reason everybody was into The Witcher; with BG3 you can even tell your parents / girlfriend / whatever that it’s a sequel to a beloved game you remember from your childhood.
According to their listed requirements, yes. In practice, haven’t tested myself but the M2 is a bit better performance-wise than their minimum card on Windows (a GTX 970, when the M2 is closer to a GTX 1060) so I imagine it’ll work but not exactly with maxed-out settings.
Hardly any mention of this from Apple or their associated media, despite the fact that an AAA game launching a Mac port on day 1 is virtually unheard-of in 2023.
I’d probably use it more if there was a browser/desktop app. But I’ve got like 1% as many followers there as I do on Mastodon, so I don’t think I’d post anything regardless.
