Just seeing what this whole Fediverse thing is all about.

I’ll just be posting about whatever random stuff interests me at the time.

I then tried to use ProtonUp-QT but couldn't figure out exactly what to do. I discovered that there's a new NNM AppImage that's early in development that works with Cyberpunk. I'll have to try again in the future and figure out how ProtonUp-QT, ProtonTricks, Steam Tinker Launcher, etc. [\#linuxgaming](https://mastodon.world/tags/linuxgaming) [#gaming](https://mastodon.world/tags/gaming) [#bazzite](https://mastodon.world/tags/bazzite) [@games](https://lemmy.world/c/games)

@BotsRuinedEverything My opinion on games and mods is that the first playthrough should always be vanilla. This allows you to get a feel for what the game is actually like and allows you to provide an honest review for the game. It also lets you know what parts of the game need improvement so you know what mods to look for.

One thing I would suggest is to get the Phantom Liberty expansion. It fits really well with the rest of the game and adds a merchant to buy missed Iconic weapons.

I finished my first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. I absolutely love the setting for the game and hopefully they'll make a sequel. Cyberpunk is going to join the very small selection of games I immediately replay. I just need to figure out how to do mods on Bazzite first. Just finished the Run This Town quest in Cyberpunk 2077 and the VAs for Aguilar nailed it. They both have that perfect mix of smooth and threatening. I'm sad that the character is only available for that one mission. Really wish they were around more or were an option to voice V. I’ve started playing Above Snakes and I really like the mechanic where you build the world instead of just exploring what’s already there.

@echo64 I think the system wouldn’t be too bad if there was an easier way to get the base weapons. One of the things I really dislike is hunting for specific weapons. I’ve only found one of those deku spears in my entire playthrough. Also, having to break my weapons killing enemies so I can get their weapons seems counter productive.

Something I've noticed while playing [#totk](https://mastodon.world/tags/totk) is that the further I progress, the less I want to fight enemies. It's no big deal killing everything I see when my weapon is stick with a rock attached but now that I'm running around with pristine weapons with lynel horns I don't want to use them on random enemies.
