I would just like to add that Australia has the world’s worst gambling IIRC. Our govt is happy to fuck over peoples lives and take money from gambling but a videogame loosely related is a serious issue in need of stopping.

It’s a strategy/puzzle/autobattler game.

It’s loosely gambling themed in that it uses one of those pull the handle spiny wheel mechanics to draw your “units” for the turn and has some gambling iconography.

The issue here would be overreactive governments setting rules about gambling and children, being unable to differentiate a game game and a lootbox machine.

No one said that.

Come to Lemmy because we’re a bunch of leftists who won’t hate you for who you were born. We sure as fuck are going to hate you for being an arsehole.

Oh boo hoo, they’re intolerant of a rude person. Get a grip and stop defending this adult tantrum.

Same here, huge fan and think proper funding will lead to a great sequel.

Because they went back. But they added it on months after release. People outside of regions that PlayStation is in could not make accounts and straight up lost access to the game. Huge controversy and outrage. So eventually they undid it, but it was too late the damage to the game was done.

No, just fuck off and make something original you arseholes.

Sony fucked this game over so hard.

It was everywhere until they demanded the PS account linking and now no one talks about it since.

I genuinely loved the first game, my only gripe is it was a glorified demo and needed far more content.

I still finished it 3 times consecutively within the first week mind you.

The factory didn’t beat up the strikers. The Pinkertons did it. Don’t hate the factory owner who hired them to beat up the striking workers.

Fuck Funko Pops.

Fuck BrandShield.

I accuse them both of causing itch.io to go down and it is their fault.

Someone’s not going on a Safari of Wealth.

Oh yeah they could call it something like a portable PlayStation, a PPS?

I stopped play Halo when the 3rd came out. How well does this hold up today? I was always curious about it but it felt more MP focused.

Yeah right, didn’t need a big post to get me hooked already:

I used my phone this morning, worked great. Didn’t need to buy anything new.

Looks like yet another generic harvest moon/ star dew like?

I’m struggling to enjoy it. Some matches can be enjoyable but more often than not I find it a dull slog.

Theres nothing more boring than being stuck in a game for another 20 minutes when it’s well and truly clear you’ve been getting your arses kicked the previous 20.

Bethesda literally invented shitty DLC

This looks like it would be a good mobile game.

This is bad, no?

It’s taking away a cheaper option for users to get results for their complaints. Now you have to pay legal fees and go through a court, making it less accessible to the average user.

I’ve been waiting like 20 years for my money from NewGrounds. I was at $80 last time I checked a while ago.

What mode do you play? I’m all about the 4v4, love the dynamic.

Been playing so many hundreds of hours of this.

I remember back in the 90s PC mags had the same issues, simple numerical ratings don’t mean shit.

The only score I follow is Steams user satisfies rating thing. the top voted complaints or praises tell me more about the state of a game than anything else ever could.

Shame it’s so hard to play today and all the mobile ports are long broken.

Such an amazing game and still my favourite BioWare RPG of all time.

Although I’m confused by OP saying this is where ME got its elements, because to me it recalls as identical to KotOR.

It’s a very good idea and much better than the stupidity of the current real estate market where all over the world entire generations cannot ever afford housing.

I didn’t get such a warning in Australia, that must mean I’m completely safe and private.

It’s Peter’s new game.

Feels like they’re advertising Borderlands IP hard recently,
