More reason to destroy copyright.

Normal people can’t afford to fight the big companies who break theirs anyway. It’s only really a tool for big businesses to use against us.

I’m just commenting so I can find this post in my history when I’m at my PC later. Looks great.

I loved the first.

The second had none of the charm of it. It’s like they tried to copy what was cool rather than lean into themselves.

The money is there, the gaas exploitation isnt there with the fanbase. But if they cant fuck you over for an extra $5 in dlc sales, the $90 purchase price isnt worth it to them.

Its greed, not inability.

Oh I loved the days of circumventing early school IT systems. I remember we discovered that we could right click on something in the start menu and get into a shared network folder, we put Halo in it and basically the whole class played matches together but alt-tabbed when a teacher came by.

My biggest issue is that I’ve already played the core of the game severalteen times over the past 30 years with the Harvest Moon series. All SDV seems to have done is put a dating sim on top of it, which isn’t enough to keep me going.

Shit that is awesome. Sounds as shit as Skyrim dialogue, but the responsiveness to the world and players actions is such a nice feature to bring life to such a boring game.

Oh they made Surviving the Aftermath? Nah, they’ll do fine, that means they’ll be working closely with Paradox again.

All I want is a new model Steam deck. They waited years before releasing them in my country to the point I can’t justify buying years old tech.

Mobile games to me are basically just one giant scam that forces you to pay or have a horrible time in comparison.

So they’re the modern arcade games?

FFT has a modding bug scene‽ crazy, what about FFTA, I loved that so much.

playable at an Australian museum this September, suggesting it’ll either release before, after, or during that time.

This journalist is going to get promoted, fired, or continue working after writing this.

What new things did C:S2 add? It felt like a slight graphical and qol improvement at best.

At this point I hope they do. They cannot be trusted with any of their IPs.

Paradox games are another big one with mod support. Devs are constantly adding new variables and shit for modders to access.

What are you talking about? For the technology it looks and plays amazing. This is a nice steady increase in capability, all one can hope for with any technology.

I don’t care about Microsoft, or what is commercially successful.

Oh man this thing is amazing, it’s got some good memory as room layouts weren’t changing on me whenever they left the view unlike previous attempts I’ve seen with Minecraft.

Steam reviews and Youtubers overtook game journalist websites/magazines for me.

Oh you’re going to subscribe to Nintendo Pass for $12.99 a month?

Ehh to on the nose.

The mammoths and art style really are too much taken from Tabs for me to want to try this. It looks like copy that doesn’t offer any new or original ideas.

You need more of a unique angle to your game.

Yeah it’s just the same shit as every other streamer game. In 2 weeks no one will play it.

Popularity does not mean a game is actually good.

Discord was great for chatting with friends during games.

It was shit for everything else, so hopefully this move kills it off and we can stop having to join a discord to find information on topics in temporary chat logs.
