People are going to list all the features Steam has over Epic, ignoring that Steam has had ~22 years to get to where it is.

And then there are people talking about how steam has had those 22 years, while completely ignoring how epic could just copy how steam did things and work from there.

Sure, they can’t see what happens in the back end, but I somehow doubt that valve is doing anything ground breaking there that others can’t think of.

Well that’s understandable on their part. If people are too lazy/unable to learn how to fix something they better pay someone to do it for them before they fuck their whole system.

But this is nothing new even for windows, so bit of a weird take in my opinion.

Straight from the site:

What can I request a refund for? Valve will, upon request via help.steampowered.com, issue a refund for any title that is requested within 14 days of purchase and has been played for less than 2 hours (this includes online, offline and shared library playtime). Even if you fall outside of the refund rules we’ve described, you can submit a request and we’ll take a look at it.

Looks pretty clear to me, you had plenty time to refund it.

I mean, I don’t want to need an active Internet connection to play a single player game.

Being forced to become dependent on a external party for a single player game is stupid and dishonest. What happens if their verification servers goes down?

At least, I assume that it needs an active Internet connection to check if your logged in or not.

Heroic launcher is where it’s at, screw that unoptimised piece of shit they call the epic gamestore.

I mean that ain’t that weird? The warpstone isn’t calibrated to the right location yet.

I’m gonna be real with you, I don’t see any qrcodes since I can’t be bothered to watch a video for something that’s probably a ten minute read at most.

Will you look at that, a real review instead of a short description with a link to some shitty external site.

A fun read and probably a decent reflection of what the game is all about as well. I think, I never heard of it the game before.

And then what? Corporations will just slap a disclaimer on their products informing you of said condition and that you need to agree, understand and accept these terms and conditions and call it a day.
