Bayview City has never looked so good thanks to this Need for Speed Underground 2 RTX Remaster mod.

I dunno but the original looks better to me… Like the new one is lacking an artistic sense.

I think the issue is putting ultra high res textures on a low poly world shows how empty it really is. Back then designers worked around this limitation. There’s a certain density to the image you lose when everything is so clear.

I think that’s part of it for sure.

I’ve been played almost all NFSU2 mod remastered edition from Dragonzool edition to Gametest edition
my opinion just simply this game doesn’t need mod to enhance the graphics because it’s perfect from start (aside lack of choices to select more higher resolution than 720p). What this game need are :

  • fixing AI Rubberbanding (old NFS bug)
  • add NPC car spawn rate (you know it’s big city like the rachel said but the road seems empty when you playing it)
  • adding Police car that chase you if you driving like maniac (like NFSMW or SRS)
  • adding physic into car (if you crashing your car, you car behave like broken car)
  • capable to add more content through mod (like adding more race missions)
