Never tried it but glad to hear it, games benefit by embracing the modding community rather than attacking it. Minecraft, Skyrim, and other mod friendly games were all wildly popular (they even got modders to help fix stuff for free).
And add free content to keep people interested
If they didn’t want people making mods like this, they should maybe take less than 13 years between installments.
