It’s amazing to me how all these years later AndStatus really still is the best Android app for the fediverse.
Sometimes simple is just better. @AndStatus had to remove support for #twitter a while back for obvious reasons. I would appreciate it if they would add support for a couple other SNS like Bluesky or NOSTR. But I’m a happy camper without it even if they never reach the cross platform function of OpenVibe or SonaSNS for iPhone. The snappiness and off-line first nature of it is just something clients with a “modern” UI can’t achieve.
