Well yes it does. Because the russian military complex is invading other countries that are not in a military alliance the swedes decided to enter one.
And because it is a military alliance the others members are getting access to the (already existing) military bases.

If Russia just could stop aspiring to be the premier asshole of the northern hemisphere, Sweden would still be “neutral” and democratic neighbors of Russia wouldn’t be forced to put huge amounts of tax money into arms instead of healthcare.
Russia essentially attacked the guy sitting next to them on the bus because they felt the guy was sitting too close.

You silly goose. Sweden, a major arms exporter and one of the world’s top 3 arms exporters per capita is, in fact, the western military-industrial complex.
So their ‘neutrality’ was a big pile of BS to begin with.
