If you call 'client-side scanning' something like 'upload moderation,' it still undermines privacy, security

signal is sadly also not trustworthy. i would rather recommend briar on mobile or just classic xmpp or irc on your desktop via tor.

They always try to sneak in the worst stuff during big events it seems - people are distracted by football? Great, let’s quickly push through some awful, questionable legislation.

Festivity Doctrine, if you will.

I hate that my government (Sweden) is a driving force behind this.

Well, your country screwed Assange, too… Don’t be so surprised…

What did you expect?? They already sold your country off to the US, they’re building 17 military bases on your soil, so you’re in essence already occupied by the western military-industrial complex. Why does it surprise you that you don’t have a shred of a competent government left??

Not true. They are gaining access to already existing military bases.

Lol like that makes any difference?

Well yes it does. Because the russian military complex is invading other countries that are not in a military alliance the swedes decided to enter one. And because it is a military alliance the others members are getting access to the (already existing) military bases.

I mean you did claim Sweden was being occupied. Words do matter, you know. It’s how we understand what you believe.

I didn’t claim anything tho…?

I’m openly critical against the whole NATO thing and DSA but you’re just being silly, ignorant, a troll or all of the above.

I’d rather be a part of the Western military industrial complex than being Ukraine since 2014.

If Russia just could stop aspiring to be the premier asshole of the northern hemisphere, Sweden would still be “neutral” and democratic neighbors of Russia wouldn’t be forced to put huge amounts of tax money into arms instead of healthcare.

Russia essentially attacked the guy sitting next to them on the bus because they felt the guy was sitting too close.

Of course everyone on the bus gets scared of the idiot attacking people!

You silly goose. Sweden, a major arms exporter and one of the world’s top 3 arms exporters per capita is, in fact, the western military-industrial complex.

So their ‘neutrality’ was a big pile of BS to begin with.

You’re being silly tbh, Sweden is it’s own nation full of people with their own opinions, you can’t blame everything on America.

Sweden has its own complex reasons for making bad choices, they’re mot just sitting around hoping america tells them what to think.

So you’re saying Swedes are stupid enough to voluntarily relinquish their independence to USA?

They haven’t relinquished independence, you need to improve your anti America trolling this is just silly.

Copemaster.

But what if I don’t have an MEP? (Cries in British)
