i read an article the other week that suggested that large american companies over employed developers to rob talent from startups that might threaten their stranglehold over the industries that they dominate.
the article spent most of it’s time on alternative instructions sets like risc and i hope that this recent employment trend within the united states of preferential treatment given developers with experience and leaving the inexperienced to fend for themselves doesn’t impact open sourced development work this.
