Now, I’m not all American men. Yes we have varity in our hair types and colors and styles. But it’s the same reason Americans think something about English peeps, and Indians think something about Brazilian peeps. And so on. Its cause they don’t live there and have limited experince with that particular group of the other.
Games (movies and books and whatever else) shouldn’t homogenize any group too much. But to be fair, it’s fucking hard depicting people.
I think, if you look at Japanese games. Even when they depict an American or Western person, they tend to have Japanese or Asian style hair and haircuts.
