Hello! More players than ever are choosing to play Steam games with a controller, and we thought it would be a good time to share some stats about controller usage on Steam along with an update about Steam Input. Xbox controllers work with windows with pretty much zero configuration. Either use USB or the appropriate receiver dongle. This probably contributes a lot to it’s popularity.

Also the older and newer style controllers likely all just report as Xbox controllers and the wired 360 controllers are dirt cheap

They work on some Linux distros with zero configuration as well. Mint being one of those.

(This is through bluetooth that I’m speaking of.)

  8. No duplicate posts, newer post will be deleted unless there is more discussion in one of the posts.
  9. No politics.

  3. No low effort comments(one or two words, emoji etc…)
  4. Please use spoiler tags for spoilers.

My goal is just to have a community where people can go and see what new game news is out for the day and comment on it.
