I deleted a Gallery app from my Samsung tablet and found out I cannot change the DeX wallpaper anymore (the Settings app says “The required app not found”). Other gallery apps don’t help, and the official one is available neither in Google Play nor in Galaxy Store.
Is there any other way to change the wallpaper without the Samsung Gallery app? And please don’t tell me about doing a factory reset.

You could try the Dark Mode Wallpaper app, from the Droid AppStore or from Github https://github.com/cvzi/darkmodewallpaper
I use it on my Samsung Phone to change the wallpaper and it should work without the gallery app.
