I think the dance dance revolution mechanic is trash, but I could accept it more with a gamepad. And the movement and animation is absolutely intended for an analog stick, so when that translates to a “D-pad” (wasd) it feels janky. But I haven’t actually played it with a gamepad so I really can’t say, but I think it’s not good on kbm.

Gave Helldiver’s 2 a whirl but it’s shitty with MKB. If you’re willing to play a shooter with a controller it’s probably pretty good.

DRG Survivors is fun but my first autoshooter, so kind of weird. Great to play with one hand tho. This one I do play with a gamepad ha

I would have disagreed with your last statement/question until playing ATS. The way you discover the glades - which opens up large building areas - is more than enough exploration to fulfill that need. At first I was a little disappointed in no combat, but I found that strategy plus relaxing (but with excitement) was a very viable combination. Especially since achieving a relaxing gaming experience with excitement is so rare. And in 99% of games I turn the music off either right away or once it’s repeated enough times which is usually within 10-20 hours. But I leave the music on in ATS, between it and the rain it’s quite relaxing for a video game. Shit I want to play it now haha

Against the Storm. Sooooo good. City builders are not necessarily my favorite but ATS is for sure one of my favorite games.

It’s not the same because of fps. You’re not playing those games at 24 fps.

Definitely what I thought, but the article putting the [is] in there messed it all up.

Tell me you have no Internet data cap? Because cloud gaming will go nowhere until we go back to no ISP data caps… (Which won’t happen with the engrained cable providers)

I’m struggling to even understand what he’s saying. Is the Why supposed to be While?? I read it two different ways…

  1. “While PlayStation will remain our core product, we will expand our gaming experiences to PC, mobile, and cloud.”

Or…

  1. “[The reason] Why PlayStation [games] will remain our core product [is] we will expand our gaming experiences to PC, mobile, and cloud.”
