How much does someone who built the foundations of Pokémon Go still play the game, eight years on? It's the first quest…

If I could travel back in time to one historical period I’d go back and relive the first few weeks of Pokemon Go over and over.

Played for a couple years but it got tiresome. It’s still on my phone but I haven’t launched it in at least a year.

I’ve recently rekindled my love of Pokémon Go. It’s addicting in the best ways, and my dog has been so happy that our walks have suddenly gotten much longer.

I didn’t know that the game still was running, it’s basically non-existent up here. Must be super popular in the populated areas still.

Even less people know that Ingress is still going. Both of the games are crap now, but they still exist.

I think the problem with both is that the game mechanic is pretty crap after you’ve levelled a bit. There is in reading grinding to get to further levels and worthwhile drops or collectibles become less frequent by virtue of your level already achieved. It happens in lots of games but its particularly egregious in these games whose main mechanic is button spamming rather than skilled.
