I’m not sure I’d trust Phil in his reassurances. It almost feels like he’s placating employees so they won’t just jump ship until he’s ready to axe them himself. If I were the employees I’d be brushing off my resume right now. But I’m very cynical.
I’m inclined to agree. MLID leaked in a recent video that Microsoft seems to be more hesitant than usual about their upcoming console. He interprets it to mean that Microsoft doesn’t intend to make a console, but is open to the idea if there’s a remarkably good deal that comes their way
It certainly would be sad if this happened. I’ve always been an Xbox user. I’d hate to have to go out and get another expensive platform and relearn everything about the user experience, just so I can stay up to date.
