  1. They’re providing the consoles to these centres themselves.
  2. Even if they were, making money and doing something “wholesome” are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

I used to work at a retirement/nursing home. The healthiest, most mentally sharp old man in that place, was this old guy who was always playing Wii whenever I’d start my shift. He’d play Wii sports and later on you’d see him playing big brain academy or some other puzzle games. I still insist that’s why he was always so sharp, he kept his mind and body active with gaming.

This was a while who, Wii days, so I think the idea of it being used for the elderly was still pretty new and alot of people would wave away the thought

Someone needs to get these seniors into Smash Bros. Then when one of them tries to organize a local tournament we can see “Nintendo Shuts Down Senior Citizen Video Game Tournament” as a followup headline. 🍿

  2. Broad discussion posts (preferably not only about a specific game).
  3. No humor/memes etc…

  6. No clickbait, editorialized, sensational titles. State the game in question in the title. No all caps.
  7. No self promotion.
  8. No duplicate posts, newer post will be deleted unless there is more discussion in one of the posts.
  9. No politics.

My goal is just to have a community where people can go and see what new game news is out for the day and comment on it.
