The fuck? I never knew it was still running. I thought it went down as soon as the game bombed?

Who didnt see that shit coming? Spending that much money pretty much guaranteed that theyd never make it back without making some major cuts. Especially since theyre hardly putting out any games.

Problem here is Nintendo doesnt have much to sue them on. They were even pretty careful about how they named the project. Naming it Spaghetti Kart and making no references to Nintendo or even Mario Kart.

Not just ultrawide support, but also interpolated frames for super smooth frame rate.

It failed because it was an under competitive game.

Nothing about it stood out other that it’s extremely unappealing characters. People were roasting them for weeks.

They certainly killed a big chunk of the player base and the hype it was building.

My buddy was a huge fan of it. From what I could tell, it’s biggest two gimmicks were that it ran on Mac and it was an fps with story.

I was a big final fantasy tactics guy back in the day. I it was my first into to tactical. RPGs, and I was already in love with final fantasy III and VII by then, so it made sense. My buddy also had Vandal Hearts and that was awesome too! Can’t say I played much more beyond that.

Oh yeah, there’s always someone “paying” for bad reviews. Yet they can never prove it.

Eh, I’m not to beaten up about it. It kind looks like any of the good talent at Bungie is long gone and they’re just outsourcing a lot of work. It kinda feels like they crapped this out under pressure from Sony.

Yeah. Wish theyd actually do something with the game other than just faff about. Its been in dire need of content, but all they want to do is monetize bullshit like weapons and things.

The first one was great. So full of camp and didn’t take itself seriously like the later games did.

WOO WOO!

I mean given how the preorders have sold out in seconds, it’s not a mystery.

I mean, Nintendo already got away with it. People are pissed, but you already have people saying theyre gona buy it anyway.

It’s bullshit and we know it. The price of the system should have already absorbed the price of this crap .

That’s like telling us we should have paid an extra $60 for super Mario Bros, all stars, and world.

N64 and GameCube, and switch not coming with a pack in game was shameful.

You’re thinking iwata, but that was a brief blip on Nintendo history. The OG CEO was a straight up suit. The man had no interest in videogames, only business. Which is why they practically had a monopoly over their hardware in the 80s and 90s.

I read a preview of it that said it wasn’t worth the money. Nintendo is getting greedy AF.

That’s kind of what I figured. I mean otherwise, it wouldn’t make any sense to offer game key cards when digital versions exist.

Yeah but that’s not the issue apparently.

Everyone assumed Jobst was being sued for claiming Mitchell was a cheater. Turns out it was because he claimed Mitchell had driven another YouTube to suicide.

We’ve been taken for a ride and Jobst had been purposely avoiding taking about what the lawsuit was actually about.

Those were the best ads tho. Game informer was just a GameStop ad. And GameStop always made me feel bad.

Yeah but all least they weren’t being forced on you

I never cared for game informer. It always felt like GameStop was trying to shill it in order to sell subscriptions to a magazine that’s basically a giant advertisement for GameStop.

Gimme those cooler magazines. Game Pro, Nintendo Power, PSM etc.

He made some weird worm game for PS3, I recall. I’m not sure it did very well. I think he got burnt out on katamari.

Looks like a lot of the shader mods that have existed for ages

If you do play it, the best version I believe is the DS version.

I played it back in the day shortly before FF3/6. Man it blew me away with it’s size and scope. I don’t think I ever played anything so large. Not to mention the amazing music. Also I loved the concept of time travel, especially after having watched back to the future around that time. That just made the game appeal to me even more.

I had played games like illusion of Gaia, and a bunch of other Enix RPGs. They couldn’t compare.
