Yeah it was pretty bad at release, the smoothing was bad too. Fixed both how it looks and letting you disable it, and some other settings that were weird from what I remember.

3 times as actually “remastered” others were just ports. PS1, which got anime cutscenes, 3DS or DS I forget, which got added content, and most recently on PC which was just basically a port of the mobile port of the 3DS version but it did have a filter for pixel smoothing and I forget what else.

We also did get 2 albums. The brink of time jazz album and to far away times anniversary album.

I mean, Civ is a pretty established line of games. If you are into those things you probably know you’re going to get the new one. Same for Monster Hunter, especially with this one returning to world’s formula, which was hugely popular, and having multiple betas people could have tried to before prepurchasing. I assume kingdom come deliverance is the same.

No issue preordering a game I know I’m going to get either way.

But with new games, or AAA shit, or titles I may enjoy but are not a guaranteed buy, then preordering is stupid as hell.

Honestly, I mean actual journalism could’ve at least figured out the false claim, what page was removed to comply, why that was a false (or not false claim), and report on that… instead of just… “here is what he said:” quote “and to summarise, he said that.”

I mean, I could see if they tried to make this rent-to-own over 2-3 years. At half the price they’re offering.

But renting… where you’re paying over the entirety of the price in a single year, is fucking insane.

If renting, and updating it every 2 years, then for like 1/4th of the price then sure. I could see it being promoted how they are. Rent out older stock for 50% retail to at least get some value out of it while allowing people to pay ~$30 a month for a decent computer. (and then you could “upgrade” the lower tier with this to end up recouping 75% of retail over 4 years.)

But who the fuck is paying 10% of the cost a month to borrow an okay computer, even ignoring the full month cancelation fee, and ridiculous contract. (which is… ignoring a LOT.)

It is sad to see NZXT lowered to this as I used to have a decent view of them. They make some nice cases. CAM kinda lowered that view a bit, but I was in the beta for that and got a free water cooler out of it so I could overlook that (it’s improved a lot since beta, though it gathering data is still not great it’s less horrible than it was.). And pushing their own not as great products for the prebuilts still seemed okay for prebuilts for those scared to build on their own. But this is just… too much to overlook. Wild.

Yeah but I don’t ever use or look at that. Honestly, almost never go to look for shit later on here, so not a habit I have. So if I did save it, I wouldn’t see it til like 6 months from now and I’d probably just go… why the fuck is this saved? And delete it.

Literally say I have uBO on so lol chill. It works fine so I see no need to swap. Been using opera since before it went chromium and it’s been fine so no real need to swap. Haven’t run into issues with being told to use chrome/edge I’ve seen people post on here, haven’t run into issues with having to update uBO or anything for it to work with YouTube so I’m fine. Plus workspaces and CPU/Internet limiters are nice.

Same on OperaGX, zero issues with their Adblock+Ublock Origin.

Curious for anyone who has played both how does it compare. Will I actually care or need to make more than one character. Is there a point to adventure mode or a reason to want to get more stuff past beating hard mode?

Survival wasn’t my thing so I finished basically the entirety of the game in 40hrs and then it was just pointless to play more?

But like it was a great game. Felt good to play and all. Definitely recommend it. Just hoping the 2nd brings something more motivating.
