It’s just a computer. Microsoft can’t kill it off (thankfully)

Giving 30% for Steamworks Multiplayer servers and matchmaking, player inventory and trading, modding support w/ workshop, forums, cloud saves: 🙅

Giving 30% because players ‘spend irresponsibly’: ✅✅✅

Hope you get better soon!

Much as I hate ads, it looks better like this.
The previous update had it looking like a bootleg and the rectangle tiles instead of squares made the disc art stretch:

It is exactly like the standard Meta Quest 3S, it’s just a different colorway and it comes with a Xbox controller and some Gamepass bundled.

You can still stream games from your PC, play Standalone titles, stream Gamepass, whatever.

The atmosphere of Buckshot was phenomenal, and the trailer for this looks great too. Looking forward to it.

As an outsider to Bethesda modding, given how difficult it looks, I’m surprised to hear this isn’t already a thing.

Every time a new episode is imported, a random tech higher up gets a cramp.
Oh if only…

I’m playing through Black Mesa lately!
Picked it up on the recent discount and now I’m going through it, gonna do all of HL2 next, time to check out the 20th anniversary update.

Also Lumines Remastered just went on sale so you bet I’m gonna be playing the hell out of that

Man, imagine if the PS6 launches and it’s just PS4 & 5 ports and “”“upgrades”“” all over again

Huh, it’s just the next Rog Ally with a Xbox sticker.

Peddling shitcoins in 2025. Lmao.
Cmon now, announce your gAmInG chatbot to complete the stupidity bingo.

Yeah I used to think Minecraft was the last sane modding scene, now with Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Quilt and whatever the fuck else I think those days are gone…

Speaking out of my ass, I think the majority will take it without pushback.
I’m sure there’s a swath of people with a console just play the yearly COD/FIFA, eagerly waiting for GTA 6 to drop. They’ll buy it without blinking.

You are not. I’m still sad Croteam dropped the Serious Sam engine for Unreal on Talos 2

Bit of an oddball, I got the itch to finish Trauma Team on the Wii since I didn’t the first time, so I got a USB sensor bar and I’m playing through it on Dolphin!

I really enjoy the Trauma Center Franchise, bums me out they never made another one, would have loved to see what it would have looked like on the 3ds or a modern entry on the Wii U/Switch.

It looks like we might have a reason why Samsung apparently paused the global release of the One UI 7 update. Tipster Ice Universe suggested that some Korean Galaxy S24 series owners had trouble unlocking their phones.

Ouch!

Bravo to the one pal who’s gonna buy it and post a gameplay on YouTube

Cortana is amazing, the new Siri is smarter than ever, Google Gem—

Yadda yadda yadda, they’re all been promising these amazing personal assistants for years and they all sucked, now they’re promising they’ll finally stop sucking and surprise! Still haven’t.

We know your next Assistant is gonna be dumb as rocks too, come up with a more interesting lie at this point…

Ooh, time to post to the InsanePeopleFacebook community

It’s the OTG mode. But if a real mouse didn’t work, presumably because graphene is blocking new devices from connecting until unlocked, this won’t work either.

Sounds like they should be selling an adapter of sorts for the RingCon and Leg Strap

Not exactly?
If they make it work nicely on surfaces that aren’t perfectly straight, you could use it while playing on the couch.
Would be particularly amazing if games support switching between modes instantly, so you could for example be playing a game, open your inventory, slap your joycon on the couch to organize your stuff w/ mouse mode, close your inventory and pick it up resuming play in joycon mode 🤯

That looks much less comfortable than the way the Lenovo Legion handles it.

…also the pessimist in me is afraid this will result in less games with gyro aiming support…

jailbreaks and emulators

I’m afraid of the possibility the Switch 2 will be their Xbox 360 -> Xbox One moment in terms of security…

Well, not anymore, they discontinued the Duo line.

If only we could fully block it from talking to Meta’s servers. It’s the cheapest headset I can find to purchase but I don’t want Meta having a 3D map of my house 🤮

They’re cool, but using them to sell a product is bullshit

Oh you should read the next part

The pandemic gave us an unnatural pop for gaming, where we thought, ‘oh my god, gaming is the biggest thing in the world’. Yeah, when you’re locked down, it is the biggest thing in the world. But in a regular world scenario, you’ve got to combat against all the other distractions that are available to young people. And I’m afraid that we’re not facing that threat head on as an industry.

Motherfuckers see unnatural conditions caused by a once-in-a-lifetime event, think they’re the hottest shit ever, and when the numbers come back to normal levels they see other forms of entertainment as a “threat” that should be “faced head on”.
Lmao. How can an industry be so full of itself?

Does this sound stupid to anyone else?
Like, the crowd you’re “losing” to TikTok was not interested in buying a console regardless, am I wrong?

  • A bespoke user interface
  • A gaming-focused OS
  • [Play] More than just Xbox
  • Bring old Xbox games to PC
  • Multiple hardware tiers
  • “Made for Xbox”

Steam Deck already does 1, 2 and 3.
Now pair it with constant nags (Enhance your experience by signing into a Microsoft account, Subscribe to Gamepass! Have you tried Copilot???), and Microsoft’s inability to ever add anything new to their controllers (bye bye Gyro and Touchpads) and you’ve lost me.
