I used to do that. Epic refused to play nice with my VPN forcing me to constantly re login with their crappy fucking captchas. The store was so annoying to use it wasn’t worth dealing with for free games, certainly made sure I’d never spend money there.

I feel like I’m the target audience for this and I have no interest. Ive bought every PlayStation, including the PS4 pro, though I did wait for the 3 to hit $400. I’ve had ps+ since the PS3.

I still have plus until july as I’d always buy a year or 2 on black friday sales. They’ve jacked the price of plus so much that I’m very unlikey to renew now. And $700 for the pro is fucking stupid. If the PS6 continues on this trend, I might just be completely done with them even though I really do like the exclusives.

Who is spending $20 for a dead online game? It should have dropped to $20 when D2 came out, should be $5 max now.

Rockstar is big enough that if they can’t get it to work on launch,MS will make an exception because people will absolutely go upgrade for GTA 6.

And if they do, it makes them look good as long as performance is decent after cyberpunk and BG3 had issues. Really nothing for them to be concerned about.

Day 1 PS+ Extra title. 3 person co-op. I’ll check it out, remedy makes good games but not thrilled about the co-op.

So normal price? If anything be pissed at the $10 extra for 48 hours early access. That shit needs to fuck right off.

Ok, a horizon in the style of moster hunter could be great. Every time I hear live service that’s not what I picture though. If its just another multi-player shooter then fuck that.

PS has kept their naming consistent enough that it’s not hard to figure out. Ps4 and ps5 are obviously different gens, one x series x doesn’t inform you in any way what’s better.

If you think the ps5 game selection is bad wait till you see what xbox doesn’t have. And everything exclusive to xbox is on PC. Sony has been absolutely mopping the floor with xbox this gen, which is probably why they think people will spend $700 in the pro.

And how’s your internet? Because I’ve never thought the videos on the store were bad enough to complain about. Might not be 4k but its never been blurry for me.

I unfortunately went with them fairly recently for a video card now that EVGA is no longer making them. I would have picked something else if I’d seen the crap before.

2. Require ps+ on pc.

So basically the single player offline game made bank, but they keep pushing this live service crap thinking it’s going to be the next GTA online and not what 90% of the live service crap ends up being.

This is the one studio I’m pissed Microsoft bought. First one started as a Playstation and pc game. Id buy 2 on pc but my GPU recently died and I’m not buying another until the 5070 probably. And my fallback gtx 970 isn’t gonna cut it.

Almost didn’t buy it due this, but ended up getting it on PS5. Refuse to use epic even for their free games.

I just finished this on PS+. While not something I’d pay full price for, it was a lot better than I was expecting. I’m not really a fan of first person without ADS, and I really wanted a grenade at times. But even with those complaints, I still enjoyed it.

And if it’s anything like their streaming boxes, pressing a button on the controller will select the ad instead of resuming your game. Happens too frequently that I’ll pause a show to eat or something, screensaver comes on and when I press a button on the remote it launches the roku channel instead of resuming the show I paused.

A lot of games no longer have the traditional pause. Pause goes to the menu. Sometimes the settings menu, sometimes the character gear menu or similar. Throwing an ad over menu items you need to access would piss me off even more than ads already do.

They announced that with the agree to arbitration or we’ll brick your device you paid for shit.

Heard the rumor months ago that immortals would be PS+. They’ve had it really discounted several times since. Glad I held off.

As much as I love BG3, I’m perfectly OK with them not doing any more. Let them do what excites them, and they are passionate about. Think the end result will be significantly better than if they forced themselves to keep working on something just because it was expected.

More live service crap. I want more great single player experiences, not micro transaction riddled live service crap.

I agree that the headset needs to work on pc. That’s what has kept me from buying one and sticking with the rift s currently. But the ps5 game wise is so much better than the Xbox. There’s no reason to buy an Xbox if you have a pc. Sony has quite a few excellent exclusives. They’re starting to come to pc as well which is nice, but they’re still on console first and not everything makes the jump to pc.

And EA, and ubisoft.

Come on Sony. I’ll even give you your stupid $10 ps4>ps5 fee for 60fps.

Why wasn’t Alan wake 2 or BG3 nominated? Was jedi soundtrack good? I honestly don’t remember,.

I haven’t played this yet, so don’t know if it’s any good. Saying that, I would like to see more variation in pricing (with the current $70 being the top end).

Hellblade launched at $40 I think and it’s great. Shorter, smaller, well made experience. I’d like to see more of that.

Isn’t this always online? Because they just added denuvo as well which seems pretty dumb if it’s already always online.

I don’t normally like horror(I say as 2 games I’m currently playing are Alan wake 2 and plague tale 2), but this looks really interesting. Too much on my backlog now, but added to the wishlist, if it reviews well might grab it later.

It was part of ps+ a bit ago. Not really into golf, but it seemed pretty well made and was fun for what it is. Probably pretty typical controls for a side scroll golf game, with power ups you can aquire.

If the store wasn’t so bad they could have taken on a huge market share just with the free games they do. I redeemed them for about a year before being so annoyed with the launcher that I uninstalled it and refuse to use it anymore.

I beat the game. It killed any desire to finish the rest of the side quests/hunts. And I’m mad that everything that you get from the hunts requires a sword that got surpassed ages ago in the game, with no way to get it back or any hint that you might want to hold on to outdated gear that was worse than what you had.

Basically, in order to craft the best gear, you have to do hunts for material. But you also need that sword. No hint not to sell it. And no way to buy it back. So no reason to do the rest of the game as you can no longer craft the reward for doing so.

Have they made a patch to let you require the worthless sword if you sold it before realizing it’s needed to craft a better one? Because I lost all desire to play at that point.

There was also the $30 I think upgrade for game pass. Which I think gave the early access and expansion pass. So even if game pass downloads don’t count, upgrades probably do.
