The game has such a gameplay loop, get items, survive, and then leave. What makes such a simple gameplay loop work is that game naturally generates moments, moments like having a teammate running out of the dark, screaming about monsters. A monster getting you while you wander through some steam.
That just makes it sound like The Hunt, tbh.
I can see that, the main difference is the Hunt is PvPvE, Lethal Company is strictly PvE. A smaller difference is that Lethal Company has good dose of humour.
Ah, that may make it better. I like the PvP aspect, but I can only be shot from some unseen bush while I am also hidden in a bush before I just give up. Might have to look at Lethal Company
Probably because games like Among Us market towards casual players.
