HDD storage used to be expensive. It wouldn’t be any surprise to hear they did it to save on costs.

Is there any other maintained switch emulator currently? I did not play anything since the last Pokémon but that was on Yuzu…
no new emulators, but there’s 1-2 yuzu and ryujinx forks that implement some qol changes but nothing major iirc
